Birthday Wishes

Everyone of us has birthday wishes. We say it when we blow our candles or even without candles. This is what we believe that it is more granted when we wished it during birthdays. Some of us has the same wishes as we celebrate birthdays. Some just changed it maybe because they are already granted or they just change their priorities.

Me, I only have the same wishes every year. It just that there are some additionals. Hehehehe!!! It doesn't mean that they are not yet granted. It's just that I want it to be continued. As what I have said, I have the same wishes as of last year. It matters about family and studies. Love life could be an additional. Hehehehe. For my family, it should be health for all of us especially for my parents. My wish is more on my parents. That they should be safe always. They should be away from sickness or diseases. They should be happy all the time. There wishes and prayers will be granted. And God will always protect them from evils. This is what I prioritized when I"m praying. For my sister and me, our dreams will be come true. For my studies, God will send the Holy Spirit to enlighten me so I will be able to catch up quickly our lessons and to be able to finish the course I'm taking up today which is surely be one of the reasons for the happiness of my parents. Also, I'm wishing that God will always remind me to be a good servant to him and be able to do my mission here on earth. :) And for my love life, I'm wishing that I could find someone who will treat me importantly and who will love me for what and who I am and not for what and whom he want me to be. I know heartaches exists together with love but i'm hoping that i wouldn't be like before. Hehehe.

And lastly, I hope my wishes will be granted. GOD bless!!!

New Year's Resolution

February is almost over. Few more days, March will come. It just means that we almost had three months in starting our new life. This new life of us corresponded with our new year's resolution. These new year's resolutions of ours guide us in every step we take. It helps us to do better. It serves as our reminder that we have to do things better. New year's resolution, for me, is our plan for the purpose of getting our lives better than the past year. It's also became a way of doing things we never did before.

For me, we can have new year's resolution even if we are in the first quarter of the year. Making resolutions now is not yet late. Me, I have a list of resolutions for this year. I don't close it. Meaning, it is open for a new resolution which may I think for the coming days. I add and add resolutions as long as it was interesting and it can do me good. Now, I already have few. You may see that it was so simple but for me, it's a fulfillment if I can do all of these. Making new year's resolution is so easy. What makes it difficult is that us being lazy or lack of courage to do these. We just depend on the thought that we have the next time to do it. I have experienced it last year. I never fulfill my resolution. With that, I felt I am a failure. Now, that another year is given to me, I'll take this chance to do what I haven't fulfill before.

Next entry of mine will be the list of of my new year's resolution. God bless you!!!

List of my 2012 Resolution

1.Go to church every Sunday......this became my first since for me, it should God be in the first. No one and nothing should and could take His place. It is because I sometimes missed the Holy Mass on Sunday since I do my school works on that day and I hang out with friends during Saturdays. It was just for sometimes but still, I realized that God only asked for an hour, yet, I didn't make it. So far, I only had one absent for the Holy Mass on Sunday. It was because, I have fever that time.

2. Make my parents always happy.....this is because, everything I do is for my parents. I want to make them happy always. I know this is impossible since not all time we can do good. But, I will try my best to make them proud of me. Seeing them smile and laugh is a fulfillment for me.

3.. Save money. Stop getting money on savings. .....every year, I have savings. I open it every end of the year. Still, I felt unsatisfied with my savings since I always get money from it whenever I ran out of money. I add and take which is, for me, not a healthy habit. So now, I put my savings on a Bamboo bank instead of piggy bank. For me, I will never be tempted to open it since I have to broke the bamboo part to get the money. I put coins which I left and reserved from my allowance. Also, whenever my parents asked me to buy in the store, the change will be going to my "bamboo bank". Hehehe. Anyway, they understand. :)

4. Never be thrifty when it comes to food....last year, I preferred to get hungry than to buy foods. That's why, I didn't get chubby as I want. This year, I want to get chubby. I don't want to stay thin and skinny. That's why I spoil myself to buy foods I want to eat so that I will achieve the body size I want for a long time. Still, I have to limit myself for the price of the food. Hehehe. Remember, I have to save money.

5. Have enough patience.....honestly, I have short patience. I easily got mad when things are not supposed to be what I want. Now, I am practicing to be more patient. Hehehe.

That's all on my list. Still, I am thinking of best resolutions. For now, I hope I could make all those listed above. Hope God will guide me in fulfilling it. God bless you!!!

Resigned as an Out of School Youth

"The person who gets the farthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare. The sure-thing boat never gets far from shore."

It wasn't my plan at all to be one of those "out of school youth". It never appeared in my wildest dream. It's just that time and situations push me through it. But, I can say that, as I became an out of school youth, it gave me more fun. And, I must say that, as I became one, I enjoyed my teenage life very much which I never experienced during my school life. I became more closer to the people whom I want to be closed to. I got also more time for my family and relatives. I have many experiences which I did for the first time. I regretted that I stop my schooling for some other way. It is sad to think that I'm already behind from my batch mates. But, to think of my experiences, it's all worth it that I never regretted to go through the things I had done during my being an out of school youth. Those experiences molded me to what I am now. I have more understanding about life. I have many dreams in life. And now, I'm pursuing it through going back to studies and continue the course I really dreamed from the very beginning which is to finish a Nursing degree and get licensed. Now, I had my limitations unlike months ago. Sleepless nights because I have to study my lessons, staying in front of the books instead of friends, hardworks in doing my projects and assignments; these are the things I hate to do, honestly. But, I have to do these for the sake of my dreams. And, I'm doing it heartedly as my parents, relatives, friends and my dreams are my inspirations.

School may be tiring but there's nothing I can do to change the truth that going to school and be educated is one of those steps to success. Success comes who pursue with it and doesn't come to those who wait for it. And, this is what I'm doing now, taking a step to success. I'll tell you that I miss my friends and families for I am far away from them. but I just think I do this for my future and for those people I loved. It gives me motivation to study hard.

I just want to those people around me during my being an our of school youth especially my family and friends. Without them, those times will that colorless and I may never be that enjoyed. I owe a lot to them. Wish me luck! God Bless!

About the difficulties to write in Cebuano

As you read my blog entries, you may notice that I'm started writing some entries using Cebuano language. Then, I translate everything what I wrote in my entries. I found it a little bit easy to translate. On the other hand, composing my entries using Cebuano, is difficult for me.

Given that Cebuano is my native language, you may wonder why I find it difficult, but I have my reasons. First, I don't know the right spelling of our words since we are not being taught in school how to write it. Also, we do not learn its formal grammar in school. We only learn by speaking it. Second, there is the youth language (that I always use) and the language spoken by older people. Often, I don't know the best word to be used since there are many words that I don't know which are used by the old folks. In fact, sometimes, when me and my mother have a conversation in Cebuano, there are words that I don't understand. Then I just ask the meaning of it, and she just laughs at me. Hahaha!

To ease those difficulties, I have decided to just write in English with a mixed of Cebuano or maybe Tagalog language sometimes. Through this, I will be able to use the three language that I know. Hope you will like my following entries with a combination of English, Tagalog and Cebuano language. Good luck to me! God Bless to You!

Praktis ug Motor

Cebuano:

Nahinumduman pa naho nga Hulyo 31, 2010,  ako nakamao ug bike.

God bless you!

English:

I can still remember the time when I learned normal bike. It was on July 31 of this year. Starting that day, every Saturday, I always practiced it, but after a month I stopped since I got tired. I always borrowed the bike from my cousin because I don't own a bike myself. I practiced not only because I envied those who know how to use it, but also because I wanted one day to ride an even bigger bike: a motorbike. I idolized those who knows how to drive motorbike, especially those who joined motorcross. I really like to watch motorcross competition. In fact, I remember when I, together with my aunts, cousins and uncles, went to Dongon, Maasin City just to watch motorcross. It was my first time to watch it live since I usually see it on television. I didn't mind the heat from the sun rays and the dust, because I could see my idol: the motor bike champion Kenneth San Andres.

Because of this, I aspired to practice motorbike for a long time, but my uncle, who has a motorbike, never had time. But last sunday, on Dec. 5, my uncle told me that we were going to practice motorbike and I agreed immediately. My feelings were mixed during that time. I was nervous and happy at the same time and I felt like I need to go to CR because of the excitement, because after a long time of waiting, at last, it came. I could practice it. We practiced at the oval activity area of Danao (Maasin City Forest Park). For the first round, my uncle was riding to guide me on how to drive. For the second round in the oval, I drove alone. While I was driving, I smiled because I was happy since I could run it alone. Primira, segunda, trisera, and kuarta; these are the four gears I had to learn. I only know trisera. It really takes more time to learn all this. With only that, I'm still happy since I was able to drive a motorbike.

I got body pain but I didn't mind it. I feel very happy. Until now, I can't forget it! Hope I will learn or master it soon. God bless you!

Why Do I Publish in English?

Upon reading my blogs, some may noticed that my entries were all written in English instead of using my own language which is the Cebuano, or our National Language which is the Tagalog. Some will just take it for granted or some will maybe wonder why. And I'm gonna tell you all the reaons behind it.

In the first place, I made blogs to earn money in the future. To earn, I have to get more readers or followers who will maybe interested with my entries. To catch them, I wrote in English, so it would be understable for all, since it is the universal Language. Meaning, it is being used by most of the people in the world. Upon making it, I'm looking forward to get readers, not only from the Philippines but also from other countries. Other reason is to learn English more while I'm an out of school youth. And lastly, I prefer to use English because one day, I want to go abroad and getting used to English is a must then.

That was all the reasons I had. And, soon, I will make blog entries written in Cebuano or I will mix it with Tagalog or English. I hope I can do it successfully. The important thing is, that you all will like it. God Bless us all!

My first posting ...

Liza, Azil, Baby Fe, Fe, Very Good and Pagod; these are the names my neighbors, friends and family, respectively, preferred to call me instead of calling me through my real name Fe Analiza. I'm already 19 years old living at Brgy. Malapoc Norte, Maasin City, Southern Leyte. I'm just an ordinary girl coming from an ordinary family and I'm proud to say that I belong to this kind of family.
As everybody, I have many ambitions, goals to reach and dreams to actualize for they say "No human being alive has no ambition. Even the laziest among us who has 'no ambition' has the ambition to have no ambition." My ambitions focus on giving good life to my family. I don't dream to become one of the richest people in the country or world. Not having financial problems and can buy anything what we need is enough for me.

I also want to help people who are in need especially those people with illness. I want to touch people's lives through caring for them. That is why I studied Nursing in college. As of this year, I graduated from the two year Practical Nursing course. I was supposed to be 3rd year nursing student in UC (University of Cebu) but I stop. Why did I stop? Let's talk about it a little bit later. During my school days, I made my parents so proud of me for I'm always one of the top in our class. In my elementary years, I was a consistent first honor from grade I to VI. It became a way for me to become a full scholar when I was first year in high school and half-scholar for the remaining three years. During college, I was a full scholar and proud to say that I graduated with special award during our clinical graduation.

"We can never tell what would tomorrow bring us". I love this line for I can compare it to my current situation. Maybe most of you wonder why I stop my studies. Financials could be mentioned as reason, but the main reason is that I stopped to give way to my elder sister so she can finish a college course, even just a two-year course. This maybe the biggest sacrifice I ever made in my entire life. My life could be boring now but I never regret even once. Thinking of my sister marching towards the stage to get her diploma makes me inspired to be more happy and satisfied with the decisions I have made for her. I never thought that I could experience this kind of situation. I'll be doing this blog until I can go back to school or get a job. This could be my pastime. Hope you will like my blog......
