November 9, Friday, the moment of truth, the day that we are waiting for. As time running, we are excited yet nervous. We are excited to perform and at the same time, we are nervous for what would be the outcome. Whew!
JPIANs were gathered already late in the afternoon for the honoring ceremony of the new batch of CPA board passers. After the ceremony, convocation followed with the theme, "NEVER GIVE UP". Time for the sophomores to show what we've got. It started with a production number by all sophomores wearing our convo t-shirt. In the middle of their dance, the second year officers presented their selves to the audience. I wasn't included during that presentation. And where was I? I was at the backstage waiting for our turn. after the first presentation, modeling came next. And i was one of them. :p. we ramped wearing dresses of our styles and likes. It was my second time to participate in a modeling. The first time was when I was a PN students. Honestly, modeling is what I'm fond of. I love watching fashion shows and i like how models walk with art as they wear clothes or whatever they are presenting. Acoustic singing followed after the modeling. And i must say, sophomores are not only models but also singers. Next is all boys and all girls dance performance. those boys and girls who have both left feet or not fond of dancing or shy to perform in front of many people did nothing but participate in the dancing portion. They dance the best as they could. Hehehe. They did nothing but to follow what our adviser is ordering. Then, it's our turn again, our K-Pop dance. Actually, we got our actions from the music video of the music since we found difficulties in its moves, we changed it into simple ones. I'm so excited to perform since I love dancing. It's my passion. since I was a kid. Then, a sort of Miss Gay for fun. The chosen boys are good at entertaining the audience because I heard them laugh and laugh with their punch lines. Lastly, a chorus number participated buy ALL sophomore students. We sang a song entitled "NEVER GIVE UP" as what our theme is saying.
After we sang, our mayor/leader called our DEAN to come up on stage with us to give her closing speech. In behalf of the other teachers, she commented regarding our performance. And YES, we did a good job as what she was saying in her comment. She was entertained well by us. She said that we are not only good learners but also good performers and entertainers. Hahaha! Yahoo!
Hearing the words of our Dean, I realized that less time doesn't matter as long as everybody cooperates and participated. This wouldn't be successful without the help of everybody. Yehey, we made it. TWO THUMBS UP SOPHOMORES. Just NEVER GIVE UP.
Looking for freshmen's convocation this month. Good luck guys!
Take care everyone. Have a great day! Always put God at the center of your day! :)
