JPIA Sophomores' Convocation

Being one of the accountancy students, I can say that we are not only into books or studies. We're also into activities and enjoyment. As what I'm always telling you, our department has lots of activities in every school year. We have activities almost every month. This is not only to spare us from brain-storming topics in our class but also to know and get closer to other future CPAs.

As of month of November this year, our department held one of its activities, the sophomores' convocation. Every year level has their convocation. Fourth year(Senior) and third year(Junior) students were done with their convocation last semester. Now, it's for sophomores to shine. Hehehe!

Because of the semestral break, we only got one week to prepare for the said activity that is hosted by us, the second year accountancy students. We couldn't make it to practice during vacation since most of us came from far places and we didn't want to cut their moments they had during that time. So, we agreed to be strictly focused during the practice for a week. Doubts in our minds, still, we hope that we could make it. We could only practice during nights since we still have our classes during days. And, activities like this is one way of practicing our discipline in managing our time between our studies and practices. With this, we struggled through sleepless nights. We always went home late, almost midnight. As we arrived home, we couldn't go to sleep immediately since we still have lessons to study. WHOA! So tiring. Thinking that it could only for a week motivates me to go on.

As we were having our practice every night, little quarrels and misunderstandings are inevitable. Yet, we got peace after a while. We still go on with the preparation. Every sophomores cooperated and required to participate in at least one presentation. We used all the time we had. We never wasted it. We all used it for the practices.

Four nights of practice? Is it enough? Did we make it? Did we impress our teachers and other students? Let's see my next entry...

TC!
